floral fantasy

This quilt is one of my favorites, it took me nearly a year to collect all the floral fabrics and another year to complete it. I consider myself experienced at making drunkard path blocks now! Actually, it was fun and not difficult at all. I got the pattern from an Australian Patchwork and Quilting magazine.

Today, I finished some of my canning. I keep saying that and then more "stuff" appears from the garden. I know we must still have apples on the trees and tomatoes, but I really don't want to see them!!

I went shopping to get a few soap making supplies, ie, olive oil, and sure did enjoy all the fall color. I took Maggie and she was so patient in the car as I shopped. She knows that when we are finished, she gets a McDonald's hamburger. All the crew know her by now. She starts whining when she sees the arches. One of the drive up girls says that she's their best customer.

I have to get going as I have a large soap order to work on. I will put some pictures up when I get it out of the molds. I'm making about 10 kinds.
