Saturday, February 12

This was my Saturday to work so not much fun going on. Yesterday I cut out 4 pillowcases I am going to make for nieces and nephews. I like to send them things for no reason or season. I think they like getting little treats "out of the blue". I'm also cutting 1.5" squares from scraps that will get used in little 9 patches for my leader/ender project. I have the entire kitchen island covered with fabric, what a mess! I had to leave it there and go to work too, and I'm too beat tonight to do anything about it. Maybe tomorrow after church. Funny thing, messes don't go away, they always wait patiently for you, don't they?

HRH "cooked" dinner tonight, we had pizza. That's the only way he "cooks". Papa Murphy pizza to bake at home. I wasn't complaining I was too tired to fix anything at all, and I love the chicken and artichoke on thin crust, Yummy. In fact, I sat down in the recliner to read the mail and fell asleep while waiting for him to go get the pizza. For some reason, unknown to me, I haven't been sleeping very well at night so I'm tired earlier than usual.

I found this little joke and thought it was cute. Enjoy and have a great weekend.

A Montana senior citizen drove his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership. Taking off down the road, he pushed it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left. "Amazing," he thought as he flew down I-90, pushing the pedal even more.

Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a Montana State Trooper, blue lights flashing and siren blaring.
He floored it to 100 mph, then 110, then 120. Suddenly he thought, "What am I doing? I'm too old for this!" and pulled over to await the trooper's arrival.

Pulling in behind him, the trooper got out of his vehicle and walked up to the Corvette. He looked at his watch, then said, "Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a new reason for speeding--a reason I've never before heard -- I'll let you go."

The old gentleman then said: "Three years ago, my wife ran off with a Montana State Trooper. I thought you were bringing her back.

"Have a good day, Sir," replied the trooper.

Your sound like you have been busy. I sew in the living room, so I have to clear it up as we do everything in this room. I have my craft area near the kitchen and my embroidery machine in the bedroom. LOL
Loved the joke!
